Foundation certificate in PCP

Many students find that the foundation course leaves them with an appetite for further training, and the Foundation Certificate is an ideal next step.

The certificate is achieved by attendance at a foundation course followed by an individually tailored programme of about 6 days over an 18 month period.

The individual programme may consist of:

  • PCPA foundation course follow-up days, supervision groups or learning sets
  • PCPA one-day workshops
  • PCP network meetings and learning events
  • PCP conferences
  • individual supervision and mentoring

Credits are accumulated through a tailored combination of activities, supervised by a nominated mentor.

Towards the end of their programme, students are asked to submit a piece of writing describing their relationship with the theory and how they are using PCP in their practice.

Bespoke courses in PCP

PCP has a very wide range of application. It is used enthusiastically in business and organisational settings, in leadership and management development, in schools and education, in health and social care, as well as in counselling and clinical work.

Members of our team have experience in designing courses for teams, groups and organisations, applying PCP to specific work settings. We can also provide specialist courses on a PCP approach to topics such as working with conflict, making career choices, team work, or managing diversity for example, or to specific groups such as children and young people, or managers and team leaders.

Courses can range from one-day workshops to full foundation courses for your own organisation or team. If you would like to discuss your needs and interests, please email pcp.contact@virgin.net

Diploma courses in Personal Construct Psychology

The Diploma courses are currently being re-designed. We hope to be advertising a new form of advanced training in PCP for 2010.
If you are interested in training at this level, please email pcp.contact@virgin.net to register your interest and receive the latest update.
