The PCPA team

The PCPA team is a community of practitioners working with PCP in a variety of professions, including psychotherapy, education, organisational consulting, and speech and language therapy.

Joady is the principal tutor for the diploma course and one of our representatives on the UK Council for Psychotherapy keeping us in touch with developments on the national scene

Dennis maintains the register of all PCP psychotherapists and registered practitioners and handles our registration process with UKCP

Peggy Dalton

Peggy is our first point of contact and general administrator and usually deals with initial enquires. She also oversees the foundation courses and the annual programme of professional development

Adele is Chair of the Courses Board which oversees diploma student assessments, and she also oversees our formal documentation

Membership

There are two main categories of membership:

  • Members are primarily psychotherapists registering with the United Kingdon Council for Psychotherapy through PCPA as their Member Organisation
  • Associate Members may be from any professional background and have usually had some training or experience in working with PCP, and an interest in continuing involvement with the PCP community

Members and Associate Members receive regular email bulletins about PCP events and activities in the UK and Europe, and have access to the lively members’ section of our website updated monthly.
